About Heather
Heather Physioc leads the Discoverability capability at global agency VML. Serving dozens of the world’s largest brands across verticals and around the globe, her award-winning discoverability group has been recognized as the Best Large Integrated Search Agency, Integrated Search Agency of the Year and International Search Team of the Year.
Heather is also an international search industry speaker and writer, with specialized expertise in discoverability for complex, multinational, multilingual enterprise brands. Her authentic approach to leadership, innovative thinking in the marketing industry, and interdisciplinary work has earned her the title of Search Leader of the Year by the global Drum Awards.
Based in Kansas City, Heather is a graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication (advertising), and holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from Rockhurst University. She was an adjunct professor of digital marketing at the Masters level at the University of Kansas until 2024.
Outside of work, Heather is a landscape and wildlife photographer and writer championing environmental conservation, and activist for voting rights and fair elections.
